Can I just remind all that Zahra choose to advertise her services on the hartwell village site - therefore inviting interest and comment not discretion and privacy. I did not question her abilities, I asked her specifically to qualify the claims she makes in her advert, she made the claims publically so it is the correct manner that I questioned them in the same public arena. She has not qualified the claims she made, which if I was looking for a reputably carer would concern me greatly.

and how is this 'not promoting Zhara's 'business'?
A professional trustworthy carer should be more than happy to answer questions about their qualifications and regulation frankly and publically.
Zhara is offering to provide paid for services, people therefore have the right to ask questions about her ability to offer those services? Would you take acception to someone asking if a mechanic was qualified and registered to perform an MOT on their car?

I quite agree abc123

Thank you for your reply daylight gambler. Of course people have the right to voice any concerns they may have.
Ask the questions by all means (I am sure anyone wishing to avail themselves of her care would do so) but do so in the correct manner.
My only reason for posting a reply on your site was because of my concern in which original posting was worded.
I am not promoting Zhara's 'business' so would not presume to tell how to present her herself.

She is trustworthy, honest and open and its saddens me to read posts on this forum which bring into question her abilities.
If anyone feels the need to question her qualifications and experience a more fitting approach would be to contact Zahra directly and discuss
their 'concerns' with her. The very nature of her work calls for discretion and privacy, something I feel has not been afforded to Zahra by the comments on this forum.
Hi abc123 - I don't believe that anyone is questioning Zahra's abilities, but rather expressing concerns about the lack of information regarding qualifications, insurance and other issues fundamental to this area of work. As a community forum it is right that people should share such concerns. As you know Zahra, this can easily be resolved by suggesting to her that she update her business information on the site with further details - this will also help people looking in the local area for a qualified carer.

I whole heartedly agree!

There is a huge variety of care being delivered by both public and private providers. And sadly yes, there is a great amount of appallingly poor care.
I feel concerned that although Zahra Kazmi states they provide quality assured services meeting clinical, psychological and social needs, they do not state how they are trained or qualified to do so. And I can't think why a reputable buisiness would not include this information in an advert?
Thinking of your Nan I'm sure your fully aware how vulnerable elderly, frail or unwell people in need of such care provision are. Sadly this can leave them open to exploitation and abuse, so I feel its imperative individuals and their families can assure themselves in as many ways as possible of the quality of care they are receiving.
Its all too easy to make statements and claims of how wonderful a service is, its a much taller order to deliver.

Having experienced a variety of carers for my Nan before she died...I think its great that some one is offering this type of service.
We had lots of problems with the service of the organisations that supplied staff to care for my Nan and you cannot value the work a good carer does enough.
If your trained, qualified and offer the services you describe, then I really hope your business in the area is a success!

Can I ask in what way you are qualified? What are your qualifications?
In what way are you independant? what are you independant from?
You state that you meet individuals clinical and psychological needs, which needs are you referring to? How do you meet them? And in what way are you qualified to do so?
May I also ask if you are registered, regulated, inspected and if you have a recent criminal records bureaux check?
