Note from Towcestrians below..........

"I am pleased to report that the plans for the Easter Weekend event at Towcestrians on Friday 2nd April and Saturday 3rd April 2010, are forging ahead.

With around 4 weeks to the event, may I ask you to kindly 'circulate' this e-mail and the attached Synopsis to all Cricket Club members and 'all' your other friends, family, neighbours and business contacts.

To recap,  the Towcestrians Rugby Football Club is staging a Rugby Match, a Beer Festival and a Music Festival.  In brief, this event is planned with the purpose to create a Guinness World Record for: “Highest Number of Players Ever to play in a Rugby Match.”  - validated by the Guinness World Records®, and as a Charity event with three proposed beneficiaries; 'Help for Heroes', Wooden Spoon and The Royal British Legion.  This is a community event and as such we believe that many sectors of the local Towcester community and surrounding villages will be interested in coming to Towcestrians.

A full Synopsis of the event is attached, together with a copy of the Flyer to be distributed in and around Towcester.  Apart from the Rugby match, we will have the Mercian Regiment Marching Band, Nepalese Curries, great beer, fantastic music festival and a number of other attractions..............

Essentially this is an opportunity for all club members from all sections to show their support and help the clubIf any of the Cricket Club members would like to come forward and offer their help they would be very welcome.  Please contact myself, Paul Osborne-Wright or Mark Austin.

 Many thanks.

 David "
