The next indoor meeting of the Towcester group of the Wildlife Trust will be held at the Saracen's Head, Towcester on Monday 16th November, starting at 7.30pm. Entry is £2 per person (members and non-members welcome).
Chrissie Harper, from Chrissie's Owls will be coming along to give a talk about owls. She will also be bringing along 3 owls to show the group, and hopefully we'll see one or two fly!
Chrissie's Owls are based in Witney in Oxfordshire and are a small group of people dedicated to the conservation of our native British Owls. They also run a busy Rescue and Rehabilitation Service for injured owls and other birds of prey.
Their group run a number of activities such as Owl Evenings, Owl Walks, and even a personal Owl Experience where you can get up close to some of the many bird species Chrissie is caring for. They even do Owl Prowls, an Owl Care Course, and you can adopt or sponsor some of the birds.
