Monthly WI Meeting

The December meeting will be an American Supper, with everyone asked to bring a food contribution to share.  A mix of sweet and savoury dishes are required, we will take pot luck as to what is brought, so be imaginative!

If you are not a member but would be interested in joining us please do come along and visit us. If you don't want to turn up on your own to the first meeting then please contact our President, Alison, on 864155 and we can arrange for someone to meet you and bring you to the venue.

Can you give us some idea of how many will be attending, would be horrible not to bring enough for everyone, a rough guesstimate would be great

Normal attendance is 16-20.

Although each person only needs to bring enuogh for one person to eat, otherwise if 15 people bring enough for 15 to eat we will all go home rather over stuffed!!!

I think the idea is to have a little of everything - and I will try and give more guidance after we on the committee have worked out what we are doing!

If you are not a WI member and plan to attend to see if you like us (females only this month please!) you would be very welcome.

Please bring enough food on a plate to feed 4 - you can bring anything, sweet or savoury, and we will be sharing our food and having drinks and a natter for the evening.

Non members pay a visitors fee, which can be refunded if you decide to join. Memership for 2010 is £29.50 for the year (due annually in January), if you join in December you get that month free. You then are able to attend the normal monthly meetings usually for no extra charge (unless a specific activity requires additional funds although this is rare) and you will get the National WI magazine delivered to your home once a month.

We accept cheques or cash for the annual membership!
