This news relates to Hartwell Community Centre
The Community Centre in Hartwell was broken into on 23rd December
Thieves / vandals broke in through the front doors of the Community Centre on Wednesday 23rd December and have damaged the fixtures and fittings of the centre.
If anybody has any information or has heard anything in regards to this please let the local police know. The forensic police service has taken fingerprints and evidence but any information to catch the culprits would be useful.
This is an offical item and is managed by Hartwell Community Centre

Yes the community centre is useable again, we used it on Monday for a party.
Ian has done a great job of fixing the damage. It was mostly the kitchen doors & under stage draws that got hit (and obviously the front door).

I spoke to the chair on Xmas Eve (over a few drinks!) and he said the damage was minimal.

Does anyone know if the Community Centre is in a usable state? ie does anything need doing before Pre School return in January?

A bit more info from the Police:
A community property in School Lane, Hartwell was broken into between the hours of 17.30 Tuesday 22 December and 15.00 Wednesday 23 December.
The lower wooden panels to the front doors were removed to gain entry, whereby items were removed from the building.
Please remain vigilant especially as the nights are darker earlier now; please report any suspicious activity you may see perhaps when out walking your dog
