Hartwell Village Survey

This news relates to Hartwell Parish Plan

The Hartwell Village Survey is being delivered to all homes in the village during the next two weeks. The survey gives a rare opportunity for everyone in the village, of 11 and over, to have their say about the future of Hartwell.

There is also a children’s survey which is being sent out through the primary school and a business survey for anyone who runs a business in or from Hartwell. All returned household surveys will be entered in a prize draw with some substantial prizes on offer.

Prizes include:

£50 cash
A signed Saints rugby ball (donated by Travis Perkins)

A case of wine (donated by K G Smith)

Better odds than the lottery – and it’s free!

The survey covers many aspects of life in Hartwell. There are different views about many of them. The Steering Group hopes that most homes in the village will return the survey not only for a chance of winning a prize but also so that the plan really represents what Hartwell people think.

The results of the village survey will be analysed during the summer and form the basis of the Hartwell Parish Plan which will be published in the autumn. Once there is a plan it will be useful guidance to the Parish Council and other local government bodies about the views of Hartwell people. It will also help groups in the village seeking funding for future projects and improvements.
