Headteacher at Roade School resigns

This news relates to Roade School
Ross Parkinson will leave at the end of the month, and Tony Nelson, the deputy headteacher, will take on the day-to-day running of the school

The Chronicle & Echo reported in March that the leadership of the school was "under review" following the news it had been placed into special measures by Ofsted after a damning report from inspectors.
A statement released yesterday, signed by chair of governors Christine Marshall, said: "Ross Parkinson has decided to leave the school at the end of May to pursue his career elsewhere.
