Hartwell Parish 2010
You may remember in January this year a Housing Need Survey was distributed to every household in the village. The results have now been analysed by South Northamptonshire Council (SNC) and the main findings are shown below. The results of the survey will be used to advise on the most appropriate mix of affordable housing for any schemes that come forward.
A total of 18 people have been assessed as being in housing need. This was determined by looking at those that need to move in the next 5 years, want to live in the parish of Hartwell, have a local connection to Hartwell and have a housing need. The main reasons given for needing to move were ‘to set up home for the first time’ and ‘need larger accommodation’.
The report will be available to view on SNC’s website, on the affordable housing page or on the Hartwell Parish Counci's Affordable Homes page.
For further information please contact Alice Izzett, Strategic Housing Officer at SNC, on 01327 322374 or email alice.izzett@southnorthants.gov.uk
