A Conservative MP has been told to pay back money he claimed for renting a flat from a company in which his family had a financial interest.
Extract from BBC news website:
Northampton South MP Brian Binley was also ordered to apologise to the House of Commons for breaking expenses rules.
The Commons Standards and Privileges Committee said it was a "mitigating factor" that Mr Binley had not gained any personal financial advantage.
Mr Binley said he was "happy with the decision".
He added: "This is a rap on the knuckles I am prepared to accept, that I have changed the rules, and I am happy others will benefit from my actions."
