Points of interest:
Hartwell Parish Council have made the greatest reduction in their precept (budget), for the next year, out of the whole of the South Northants District. We were the best with a reduction of 18.4%, the worst village had an increase of 40.9%!
SNC council tax will increase by 3%, NCC council tax will increase by 3.5%.
NCC will no longer carry out temporary repairs to pot holes they will now make permanent repairs however this will result in a 3 month waiting time instead of the current 28 days.
The Parish Council have submitted comments regarding the application for 4 new homes behind 66 Forest Road.
The application for 36 houses at the bottom of School Lane has been approved subject to a planning obligation.
NCC have finally given consent for the Parish Council to purchase a 'smiley' SID speed sign.
Volunteers needed to support the youth event on 27th March.
New standing orders for the conduct of Parish Council meetings has been issued by the National Association of Councils new legislation to be adopted by Hartwell PC.
The clock company have finally accepted liability for the faults and will be repairing soon.

3% up??? should be going down not up, they dont offer bugger all for what were paying now. Its a bloody disgrace! 
Saying that, their going to be charging more now there building themselves fancy new offices, using the excuse that they need to be more central in Towcester!
They should think themselves lucky to be working from a portakabin let alone awarding themselves new offices for the level and quality of work they offer!

Trust me to move to a Tory Council area when they stop doing low Council tax rises. Just shows they can't look after our money.
