Well Done - the Meads were sad to miss this working party.

This news relates to Ashwood Acre - Hartwell Pocket Park
Six new Oak posts added to the park
Six 5 foot oak logs donated by Salcey Forest have be set around the park this afternoon.
The weather stayed mostly dry as the 10 strong working party dug 2 foot holes for the logs and set them with concrete.
These logs will be fitted with interpretation boards explaining the different habitats around the park such as the fruiting thicket, butterfly area, coppice and meadow,
As darkness fell the last log was positioned and they look fantastic..
Many many thanks to all the team today for a few hours of very hard work!
Any one who would like to be involved in the next working party, either watch this web site or contact Derek Hawley on 01604 863169 or email info@hartwellpocketpark.co.uk
