Share your Hartwell photos

We have now made it easier to share your photos of the village, events and the local countryside with other residents

Hartwell now has it's own Flickr group, http://www.flickr.com/groups/hartwellvillage, where you can easily share your photos of the village and the local countryside with other residents.

Flickr is a popular photo-sharing service with advanced and powerful features. You can share hundreds of your own pictures without paying a penny. If you are new to Flickr, you can find out more by reading with beginners guide.

The group already has a number of photos shared by residents in the village, including these lovely photos (used with permission):

If you already have a Flickr account, you can join the group by clicking the 'Join' link at http://www.flickr.com/groups/hartwellvillage and agreeing the terms and conditions of the group. Once joined it is simple to share your photos with the group:

For individual photos: just browse to the photo you want to share in your photostream and click the "SEND TO GROUP" button above the photo and select "Hartwell Village".
For multiple photos: On the Hartwell Village group page, just click "Add something?" and select the photos you wish to add.

If you have not got an account, then give it a go! It is quite a simple site to use, and makes it easy to share photos. You can also use Flickr to host photos that you want to use for news items and events on this site.

In the future I hope we will be able to run photo competitions, as well as making it easier for visitors to this site to view the photos by having a Flickr gallery on the site.
