This news relates to Hartwell Village (General)
Snow has fallen across Northamptonshire overnight with South Northants receiving the most.
Most of the local schools are closed, including Hartwell Primary, Hanslope School, Sponne and Roade School (you can find a full list on the County Council website)
Not sure what to do with the kids? Weebly is organising an impromptu "Fun In Snow" event at the Pocket Park at 10am - come and have fun in the snow and build snowmen and throw snowballs.
If you are out and about in the snow please take some pictures for the website. You can email your photos to photos@hartwellvillage.com.
Northamptonshire Police are advising motorists to make sure they leave plenty of time for their journeys and drive appropriately for the conditions they face.
The Chronicle & Echo is reporting that we are due further snowfall every day until the weekend at the earliest as Arctic conditions sweep across the area. The weather report warns that overnight snow combined with freezing temperatures would result in lethal stretches on some untreated minor roads and pavements.
Northamptonshire County Council has predicted that the county's stockpiles of salt and grit are expected to last long enough to keep the major roads safe.
The BBC weather website is forecasting further heavy snow early afternoon today, with further snow at the weekend.
