Update from Pocket Park Committee

Published on 11th May 2010 12:25pm

This news relates to Ashwood Acre - Hartwell Pocket Park

An update on progress at Ashwood Acre, Hartwell's Pocket Park

Thanks to all who helped out at the April working party. Blossom and leaf burst is now well under way and the park is looking tidier after April’s work. We’ve dropped the hedge in a couple of places so that it is easier to see in from the lane. Things don’t stand still at this time of the year – mowing, strimming, cutting back, mulching and the butterfly bank are all on the agenda. The next working party is on Saturday 22nd May from 2 to 4 p.m. We can achieve a great deal in a couple of hours if we have a good turnout

Reminders

Annual Village Meeting – the Pocket Park will be represented – Tuesday 18th May Doors open 7 p.m.
